To workaround this I now have to create more pistons in webcore and then link that up with IOS shortcuts to be able to have easy ways to run scenes from a simple widget - why oh why do you make it harder for your real users, I am fed up of silly UI changes that are fine but not needed and stuff that we actually want never done but instead taken away. Still no apple shortcuts support, this would solve it also. Mostly the widget says open smart things so just dumb and not tested - what a useful upgrade. But to take that and make it 4 shortcuts that don't work by themselves and instead open the app then runs the scene is a joke. Why do you insist on removing core features - the old IOS widget was already very limited with 8 options max, and text very small etc. If there are any persisting problems, then please let us know! You can tap on the menu in your app & then on Help and email or call customer service to reach us. It’s clear that a lot of effort has gone into improving this app, because it was originally very, very poor. The app is easy to use, well-laid out and overall fantastic.
After a bit of hassle setting up (~15 mins), within a few minutes you can control the washing machine at the touch of a button from your phone and it’s fantastic. As a young person I’m always worried I’m going to mess up the washing some way or other, but the app offers a “Recipe” feature which lets you tell it what clothes are in the machine and it then suggests a cycle to put it on. However, this app has significanly improved and I can’t quite believe it! I only use it for the Washing Machine, and it works so well. It must be close to a year since I last reviewed this app, and I couldn’t bare to use it again because at the time it was just the worst thing I’ve ever used.
